We Need Your Help

Building a bridge of hope to the communities of the Mushkegowuk Council through education, awareness, and celebration of cultural heritage.

Flying Free works continuously on several initiatives.  Our current focus is within the Community of Attawapiskat.  Over time we will expand our reach to their neighbouring communities.

We only send items that are requested directly by the community.  The items below are necessary to current projects underway in Attawapiskat.  Any contribution is greatly appreciated.

There are several ways you can help.  We are currently seeking donations of the following items:

  • Fabric for general sewing
  • Fabric for quilting projects
  • Sewing Notions
  • Sewing Machines
  • Beads (glass beads & pony beads)
  • Art Supplies (for children and adults)
  • Fabric scissors
  • Satin Ribbon
  • Leather supplies (deer, moose, elk hides for moccasins & gloves)
  • Tent grade canvas for tipis

This wish list will continue to expand.  If you can help, please reach out to us through our “Contact Us” form located at the bottom of our main page of this website.  We will arrange to have all items shipped to us.  We ship at least twice a month to our trusted contacts in Attawapiskat.
